Eric July – Lead Vocals

A content creator, gamer, and social commentator, Eric was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Eric always wanted to use his voice to share powerful and uncensored content and calling out those that made it harder for him to be successful. You can find Eric – when he isn’t working on his comic or For Canon Sake podcast – with his wife, two dogs, or enjoy a good game with friends.

Alex James – Clean Vocals, Bass

Alex hails from Corpus Christi, TX. His roots in music go back to his childhood, and vary across various genres. Interestingly, metal is not a genre he listens to and tended to enjoy the vast majority of bands seen and heard when Backwordz initially went on tour.

Kevin Kerestes – Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals

Texas made, metal raised. Kevin currently listens to pop and punk music mostly. Sun 41 is my favorite all time band. Kevin primarily write the instrumentals (guitar, drums, bass) for the band. My day job is producing music for other artists  in a studio in his house with his chubby cat Taco.

Robbie Rosales – Drums

San Antonio native, Robbie “Keeping San Antonio Lame” Rosales was captivated by the diverse range in music at Fiesta events and other music festivals (Oyster Bake being personal favorites). The music itself, lighting, pyro (if applicable), staging, and all of the behind the scenes stuff was so fascinating to Robbie and continues to be. Robbie’s always had an appreciation for all genres of music with his major musical influence stemming from Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Matt Greiner (August Burns Red). Dave Grohl has been a big role model of his for years, his caring and comical personality was found very relatable, and also admired the fact that he played a significant role in 2 different rock staple groups. Matt Greiner is an all around commendable drummer, his unique style of playing is mind blowing to watch. Robbie also highly respects his sense of humility and his down to earth nature. When not toiling away, Robbie takes any opportunity to escape to the beach with my family and bing a few cheesy horror films.

Brian Bradley – Guitar, Backing Vocals

A San Antonio native, Brian was raised on Van Halen, Aerosmith, Pantera, as well as plenty of pop, hip-hop, and country artists such as *NSYNC, Eminem, Carrie Underwood, etc. He continues the open mind to music genres by keeping up with new releases in modern rock, metal, and pop punk. Brian is left-handed so all of his guitars are unplayable by the rest of the band…it doesn’t stop them from trying every once in a while. If there’s not a guitar in his hand, there is definitely a camera or some pencil or brush at work as an avid artist.
