BackWordz debuted on the scene in January 2015 with one major goal in mind: remain self-produced and in control of every aspect of themselves as a band. After their first 2 energetic singles were released (Grindstone and Elitist), they made the risky decision to set their eyes on the political arena. So, in the midst of a controversial and hostile political climate, they began the long journey towards building their name as a high energy, no-holds-barred, unapologetic anti-state outfit.

3 and a half years and one chart-topping 18-track album later, BackWordz has built a team of hardworking and dedicated players eager to see to the band’s success, and is now prepared to expand the brand beyond the world of music.
